October 31

Today was Halloween, and we had tons of fun. The weather was a bit chilly this morning, but we had nice blue skies this afternoon.

Ever heard the internet abbreviation ROFL? It means "rolling on floor laughing" and I think that's what these two are doing! They were being so silly. Reilly is looking on, I don't think she gets the joke.

Milo has been really into tug of war with dog tails lately. Mostly they all seem to ignore him. It's hard to get attention when you're just a little guy!


Gracie is taking a rest next to Tyler.


Joey and Hobie had a lot of fun playing today.


Jake and Elwood went home day before yesterday, but I had to put this up. I took this pic right before the batteries died in my camera on monday, so it was the only pic I got that day. They are so cute, they're both huge dogs, but when they're in the yard, they like to try to cram themselves into really small spaces together, because they don't like being too far apart. Even if it means a tight squeeze!

Updated the website!

No pictures right now - I just wanted to announce that we have updated the website with photos of the new facility and finally removed all the pictures of the old place! It only took a year, but it's done!

Also, we are waiving the $10 holiday surcharge for boarding this year! We are already booked for Thankgiving and have a waitlist! Please don't hesitate to sign up if you haven't yet, though - we always have a few last minute cancellations.

Thanks to the parents of Mojo, Ivy, Copper H, and Cooper D (along with my mom) to making the teeth cleaning a great success! Everyone was very happy with the job Turie Norman and Cindy did on their teeth and all without anesthesia. They were very gentle with the dogs and it was pretty stress-free for all of them. Don't fret if you didn't get a chance to bring your dog in - we'll have them back again some time in January.

October 25th

Today was another good day at doggy daycare. We had a lot of energetic dogs today so it was lots of fun! The above picture is of Jake (top) and Elwood (bottom). Sitting together in the yard. Jake kept smashing himself on the slide so that he could lay on it. It didn't look comfortable to me, but he sure thought it was!

This is Tyler (left) and Rhett (right). They are chasing someone that we can't see in the picture! Go get 'em boys!

This is a picture of Marcy being the leader. The dogs were playing chase and running all around the yard together. Finally, Marcy jumped on top of the kennel and was like "Ha ha, you shorter dogs can't get me now!" Aksel and Chester are stuck down below!

Here is Komi trying to get Jake to play with her. She is so funny in that she really likes to play with other Huskies. Sometimes I wonder if dogs know what they look like...

This is an action shot of Aksel and Abby flying up at each other in the air. They had a great time wrestling and chasing together today!

This is a picture of Milo playing with Coco. These two loved each other today! Coco is boarding for her first time and was glad to have a good friend to play with!

October 23

Lots of cute doggies again. We played all day! And the weather really improved this afternoon. The dogs all had a lot of fun running around outside.

Here's Rudy playing with Raven. That is one long drool he's got hanging from his tongue.

October 19th

Today was another wonderful day at the Divine Canine. We had a couple new dogs today, Sophie (Collie) and Madison (white yellow lab). They both did very well and will be joining the pack for daycare! I am going to put the pictures into categories and only make comments on the ones that need them!
